New Evidence Show GMO’s Cause Tumors in Lab Rats

A recen story posted in UK paper The Grocer published results of a scientific study which proves that a rat fed on a consistent diet of GMO corn and exposure to Roundup, the infamous Monsanto weedkiller, is definitively connected to cancerous cells developing in the rat.

“In the first ever study to examine the long-term effects of Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller, or the NK603 Roundup-resistant GM maize also developed by Monsanto, scientists found that rats exposed to even the smallest amounts, developed mammary tumours and severe liver and kidney damage as early as four months in males, and seven months for females, compared with 23 and 14 months respectively for a control group.”

This is one of the very first studies to show what can happen with prolonged exposure. It is of the upmost imperative that we as citizens get informed, share the information and stop this poison from growing.
