CATIE’S WHOLE PLANT FOOD VITAMIN E POWDER! REAL MAPLE FLAVOR
Catie’s Whole Plant Food Vitamin E is composed of great sources of Vitamin E foods that are rich in the most needed forms of vitamin E (called tocotrienols) along with tocopherols, naturally occurring bioavailable vitamins and minerals, anti-oxidants, and cofactors (enzymes and proteins) that have what is called “plant intelligence” in which they know “where to go” and “what to help strengthen, nourish, rejuvenate.” Very Smart indeed! Research continues to validate that real food sources of Vitamin E can be much more effective than synthetic Vitamin E. (A Breaking study published in The Journal of American Medicine stated that men who took synthetic vitamin E (400iu) during the trial had an increased risk of developing prostate cancer. It was also stated that vitamin E should be from nuts, seeds, grains, fruits, vegetables, and vegetable oils.
Although there are two sources of Vitamin E (4 Mixed Tocopherols and 4 Mixed Tocotrienols), alpha tocopherols have been the dominant in the market from synthetic sources for years. Research has shown that not only is Alpha tocopherol ineffective as a viable source of vitamin E, but the new kid in town is the Tocotrienols (the Delta and Gamma forms are considered the most effective) due to the vast need to eliminate excessive amounts of laden cholesterols and many other challenges associated with a vitamin E deficiency.

Millions of Americans rely on expensive Statin Drugs to control cholesterol levels and unfortunately can suffer from side effects. Researchers have been investigating natural ways (besides diet and exercise) to achieve lower cholesterol levels. Scientists have not found any adverse effects of the natural Vitamin E, called tocotrienols (as found in foods such as Rice Bran, Rice Bran Oil, Red (Moriche) Palm Fruit, Avocado, Annatto Berries,….) thus far. In the May, 2005 Food and Chemical Toxicology Journal, researchers showed that total cholesterol levels in animals dropped by 42%, and LDL, or “bad cholesterol” levels dropped by 62% after their diets were supplemented with concentrated forms of Vitamin E called tocotrienol fraction or TRF isolated from rice bran oil. In 2009, animal trials carried out in India and Malaysia revealed palm tocotrienols improved blood glucose, dyslipidemia and oxidative stress in diabetic rats. It is able to prevent the progression of vascular wall changes occurring in DM.[1][2]
